Freshly graduated from my master degree in computer science, I've decided to leave France and everything I knew to start
a new adventure in Canada. Pilot Things a new startup working in the IoT domain offered my first experience as Full stack
developper. The challenge was real : a small team with a lot of ambition. Working in a startup is the kind of experience that
helps to build a very strong mindset. I had to learn everything so the company could be more and more successful. From the
front-end to the back-end and infrastructure, my contributions are everywhere.

Missions & Responsibilities
- Platform Evolution & Leadership: Joined the existing engineering team to drive the development of the Pilot Things platform. Progressed to a Lead Developer role, taking ownership of feature planning, architectural design, and complex problem resolution.
- Hybrid Cloud Orchestration: Managed and optimized platform deployments across AWS and On-Premise environments, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency across diverse infrastructures.
- Mentorship & Team Growth: As Lead, mentored a small development team, implementing better coding standards and providing technical coaching to accelerate project delivery.

Key Achievements
- 10x Performance Optimization: Identified and resolved bottlenecks in the existing codebase through deep profiling, reducing data processing latency from >1s to <100ms.
- Scalable Architecture: Implemented Multi-tenancy to support business expansion and built a custom data modeling engine allowing users to define their own device transformations.
- Rapid Response Engineering: Spearheaded the development of a COVID-19 tracking MVP in under 30 days, demonstrating the platform’s adaptability to urgent market needs.
- Service Innovation: Expanded company offerings by architecting Serverless processing pipelines, enabling highly scalable and cost-efficient handling of incoming IoT telemetry.
